I rented this island house in Thailand for 10,000 baht at first, then I talked the landlord down to 9,000 baht per month. There are smaller island houses available in Thailand, but for a nice, cheap house to rent that will accommodate my daughter and me on the island, this was a great option.
You can rent houses for cheaper than this in Thailand if you live on the mainland, but island life can’t be beaten. For the location, this is the cheapest house rent in Thailand for a house of this size that I could find on an island.
